Nationally recognized fundraiser brings broad advancement experience to clients
Ithaca, New York West Wind Consulting Strategies in Fund Raising LLC is pleased to announce that Tammie L. Ruda has joined the firm as a Senior Consultant. She will provide guidance and counsel to colleges, universities, and other non-profit organizations to help them improve their fundraising programs and results.
Tammie previously served as an independent fundraising consultant and has partnered with West Wind Consulting to serve its clients. She draws upon over twenty-five years’ experience in development gained by working at Harvard University and Brown University. She has led annual giving efforts, information technology (including a database conversion project), and prospect research and participated in five comprehensive fundraising campaigns. She earned her Ed.M. in higher education administration and A.B. magna cum laude in history and science, both from Harvard University. A longtime volunteer with CASE (Council for the Advancement and Support of Education), Tammie received the CASE Crystal Apple Award for her teaching at professional conferences and is recognized as a CASE Laureate. She served three terms as chair of the Annual Giving Directors Consortium and was also awarded the Diane Thompson Award by the Northeast Annual Giving Conference in 2016.
